Our Malvasia Aromatica stands on its original roots, in small parcels close to the ocean in north-west Tenerife. The milder weather here helps to develop the grapes to full ripeness and bring out the naturally capitvating aromas of Malvasia. By stopping the fermentation before it finishes, we´re able to make a beautifully balanced, off-dry wine.
On the nose there are aromas of grapefruit, peaches, bitter orange and rose petals, with the slightest hint of the ocean. The vibrant acidity cuts through the slight sweetness, resulting in a remarkably tense, persistent wine. This is a wonderful pairing with grilled fish, tartare and ceviches, as well as spicy, Asian cuisine.
