Listán Negro is one of the greatest ambassadors of Tenerife´s rocky terroir. We grow our vines at moderate levels of altitude in the north-west of the island, where we hand-harvest them during the month of September.
A juicy, engaging red wine with aromas of black pepper, ripe, dark fruits and exuding the inherent strength of our volcanic souls. Our favourite way to drink this is sat around a table with friends, with a charcuterie board and an evening to spare. It also matches brilliantly with the traditional cuisine of the Canary Islands; fried rabbits marinated in spicy, 'mojo rojo' sauce or with beef stew and boiled potatoes.
