Gual 2020

  • First brought to the Canary Islands by the Portuguese in the 16th century, Juan Jesús discovered Gual on the island of El Hierro in the late 1990s. Known as Bual on the island of Madeira, Gual is very much at home in Tenerife, where the bright sunshine brings the grape to full ripeness and allows the aromas to shine through; tropical fruits, jasmine and layers of delicate smokiness, invoking the volcanic soils of the Canary Islands. Due to its naturally high acidity and creamy texture, this wine pairs brilliantly with white meats and rich, seafood dishes.
